Starting at 20:00, the classes take place in a large mirrored dance studio in St. Brelade. The cost is £7.00 for non-members and you can pay as you go. If you want to continue attending classes regularly, you can pay for a Jersey Jewels Bellydance Club annual membership fee - the cost is £20.00 and classes are £5.00. Members also get discount on any events, such as workshop weekends.

The Jersey Jewels Bellydance Club was founded in 1996 when a group of friends saw a belly dance show, fell in love and decided that they wanted to learn belly dancing themselves. Their most experienced dancers, who give their time voluntarily, lead classes in a variety of styles including Egyptian and Turkish oriental, veil, folklore, tribal and more. Previous dance experience isn't necessary, just a willingness to give something different a try!

In addition to weekly classes, Jersey Jewels Bellydance Club also hosts several events throughout the year. These include informal belly dance parties, which provide a change for those who want to perform to showcase their skills to family and friends.
