This style merges the elegance and courtesy of traditional country dances with the energy and precise steps of old Scottish reels, making it accessible and enjoyable for all levels.
Weekly Scottish country dancing classes take place on Thursday evenings at St. Mary’s Parish Hall from 19:30 – 21:30. Keeping fit, having fun, and making friends are just some of the many benefits you can look forward to, and the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society Jersey are always looking for opportunities to involve new dancers.
Everyone is welcome and a dance partner is not required! You don’t have to wear a kilt or tartan (unless you want to!) and you’ll need to wear comfortable flat shoes.
Cost: £5.00 per session; your first session is free.
