Simply Ballroom, Jersey's beginners ballroom dancing courses prepare dancers to be able to dance, simply, around a dance floor, by the end of the course; they usually include preparation for more than once dance in that genre. In March 2022, some of Simply Ballroom, Jersey's students undertook their first medals exams and were assessed by an IDTA examiner from the UK; such dance exams have not taken place in Jersey in over 20 years. Anyone who has completed Simply Ballroom, Jersey's "new improvers" courses can undertake medals exams.

To support their dancers, Simply Ballroom, Jersey also hosts ticketed social dances at various venues throughout the year, such as the Merton Hotel and St. Helier Town Hall; and, less formally, at their Saturday night social dances at St. Lawrence Parish Hall.
