About the performance: Crisálida (Chrysalis)
Choreographed by Inês Pedruco, Crisálida is a captivating dance piece that uses the chrysalis as a metaphor for transformation, personal growth, and the journey of self-discovery. Every movement reflects a stage in human evolution, emphasising the dynamic relationship between adaptation, individuality, and the bravery required to carve one's own path. This inspiring choreography is a celebration of the resilience and ongoing development of the human spirit.

Originating as a small initiative at the Escola de Dança do Funchal in 2014, the company has flourished through strategic partnerships, becoming a dynamic junior dance company that continues to inspire and shape young artists in its early seasons.
