Double Bill: Goecke and Edeso - 17th April: Opening Performance
The first Ballet d'Jèrri programme of 2025 brings an extraordinary treat to Jersey audiences: Whiteout by renowned German choreographer Marco Goecke.
Premiered at Les Ballets de Monte Carlo in 2008, this hauntingly bittersweet work has captivated audiences worldwide with its emotive depth and intricate movement. Set to the music of Bob Dylan, Whiteout offers a perfect introduction to one of the most influential figures in contemporary dance.
The second half of this double bill marks the much-anticipated return of Asier Edeso Eguia, creator of Ballet d'Jèrri’s fan-favourite Deliberate Mistake. Edeso Eguia will debut an all-new work, marking his first creation for the company in his new role as resident choreographer. This programme promises an unforgettable evening of artistry and innovation for Jersey's dance lovers.
This production is generously supported by the Jersey Opera House.
