Carousel - 24th August

The Theatre Workshop Jersey's summer musical this year will be Carousel. Every year, the company put on an entire musical production from start to finish in 2 weeks, and 2024 will be no different!

Carousel by Rodgers and Hammerstein is a cherished American musical, highlighted by timeless songs like "If I Loved You," "Mister Snow," and the iconic "You'll Never Walk Alone." Adapted from Ferenc Molnar's play Liliom, the story is set on the New England coast, where carnival barker Billy Bigelow and mill worker Julie Jordan fall in love. Their tumultuous relationship leads to tragedy, but in a touching twist, Billy returns to instill hope in their daughter.
