If you’re serious about turning your passion for the performing arts into a profession, the Jodie Lee Performing Arts Academy (JLPA) has an exciting opportunity for you. Their Performers Preparation Program is a one-year musical theatre course designed to equip aspiring performers with the skills and qualifications needed to succeed in the industry.
This dynamic and performance-focused course offers comprehensive training in dance, acting, singing, and music theory - all delivered in state-of-the-art studios. Participants will also have the opportunity to master an extensive range of advanced skills vital for building a successful career in the performing arts.
Students who successfully complete the course will achieve a Level 3 RSL qualification, which is widely recognised in the industry. Additionally, for those interested in teaching, dance teacher training is available as an extra option.
The course is open to individuals aged 16-21, with government funding available through Jersey Student Finance for eligible students. Classes run from 08:45 – 15:15, Tuesday to Thursday, giving students the time and space to fully immerse themselves in their training.
